security role
Security roles are granted to individual users or to groups, and multiple roles can be used to create security policies for a WebLogic resource. Once you create a security role, you define an association between the role and a WebLogic resource
---
A JMS module security role is used to secure a JMS module deployed within a security realm. For more information, see Securing Resources Using Roles and Policies for Oracle WebLogic Server.
Note: Oracle recommends using initial capitalization, singular names for global roles; for example, SecurityEng.
To define a queue security role:
1. Expand Services > Messaging and select JMS Modules.
2. On the Summary of JMS Modules page, select the module that you want to configure.
If the table is empty, refer to Configure JMS system modules.
3. Click Security: Roles to open the JMS Module Roles page.
4. Click New.
5. In Name, specify a name for your new Role.
6. Click OK.
7. To activate these changes, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Activate Changes.
Not all changes take effect immediately—some require a restart (see Use the Change Center).
