Jailbreaking iPhone 3G OS 4.0.1

Use Safari to go to jailbreakme.com directly

Multitasking on your 3G

Once you are jailbroken, navigate to /System/Library/CoreService/SpringBoard.app/N82AP.plist

Open the plist and change the multitasking key to = True

if the multitasking key is not there, add it

iPhone dev team post on web saying iPhone IOS 4.1 jailbreak tool has been released today (09/23/2010). The tool is for MAC. Windows version needs more testing.

Not sure when I can use jailbreakme.com to do it.
