Update the Software for the HTC One (PN07120)
Update summary
On October 8, 2013, AT&T and HTC released a software update for the HTC One (PN07120). This software package updates the baseband version to 4T.20.3218.13_10.12.1718.01L, and includes enhancements to the camera, improved stability, and improved touch screen sensitivity.
The size of the update files is 564 MB and will not count against your data bucket when downloaded over a mobile broadband or Wi-Fi connection.
What to expect after the update
Although there should be no impacts to settings or data, we recommend that you back up your media files to a PC, or using a favorite application (from the Play Store), prior to upgrading the software.
How to update
Customers will receive an alert and be prompted to download the update, or have the option to initiate the update manually. When prompted, you can postpone the update up to 3 times, and 4 hours per occurrence. After the update this has been postponed for the maximum allowable time, your device will automatically download and install the update.
To initiate the update manually, from the home screen, tap .
Scroll to and tap Settings > AT&T software update > Check for updates, and then follow the on screen instructions.
Once the software update has been downloaded, a status message will be displayed. Tap Continue to install the update.
After the software is installed, the phone will automatically restart.
Once the update is complete, tap OK.
How to verify the update
From the home screen tap .
Scroll to and tap Settings.
Scroll to and tap About.
Tap Software information. The following information will be displayed:
