The presence information for a Windows Messenger contact is not displayed correctly in Windows SharePoint Services or in Outlook

After some researching, I finally found a helpful KB from Microsoft:

Since all steps didn't help due to registries have identical values, the following section provided me some clues:
When I went to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\IM Providers, I saw DefaultIMASpp have "Cisco Jabber" in it. Other working systems have "Communicator" in it. After I changed it to Communicator and restarted Outlook, the online status appears in Outlook

If the issue(s) persists, create the registry key below. This registry key provides data that enables logging for the MSO-Communicator presence feature set, showing exactly what was happening when Outlook requested presence information.
Click Start, and then click Run.
In the Open box, type REGEDIT, and then click OK to start Registry Editor.
Navigate to Key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\IM Providers.
Create the following DWORD value: OfficePresenceLogging with Value: 1.
