Santa Barbara Pier

Last Saturday (09/13/2008), we went to Oxnard for a badminton tournament first, then, went to Santa Barbara for dinner.
The restaurant we went to is a Thai restaurant called "Your Place".

After dinner, we went to Santa Barbara Pier.
It was the first time I went there.
From what I felt, they are trying to make it like Santa Monica but haven't got there yet.
It was the day before Moon festival and the moon was round enough for good pictures.
We arrived there around 7 PM and the sunset made the sky purple, it was pretty.

I also took some pictures of pelican.
You can see how big it is comparing to a seagull.
BTW, the seagulls there at Santa Barbara Pier are the fattest seagulls I have even seen in USA.

There was a live concert on the beach.
We could listen to the music clearly from the pier.
It was an interesting place to visit and I believe I may go again when there is a chance.
