There are different versions of MySQL GUI Tools 5.0.
I have installed the latest version (5.0-r17) I could find at home but never really used it until last weekend.
I was trying to modify some data in some tables using MySQL Query Browser (1.2.17) but the Edit feature was greyed out disabled.
Interesting thing is, some tables under the same schema have this feature enabled but some don't.
I thought it might be permission issue but it is not.
I couldn't figure out what the reason it could be.
Earlier this week, I tried MySQL Query Browser (1.2.12) at work and I was able to edit the same tables I couldn't at home!
I removed r17 and installed r12 when I got home that day and all worked just fine.
The newer version software is supposed to help fix bugs but it doesn't seem to be the case for MySQL GUI Tools 5.0-r17.
