2005 Volvo 60 Tail Light Assembly

While I was backing off before taking Da-Yi to the doctor yesterday, I accidentally hit the front yard tree and broke the right rear tail light lens.

I went to Pep Boys for battery check and asked about the part. Interestingly, they don't have it.
I searched online and found it is very expensive!!!
I thought I just need to replace the lens (cover) but it is sold as an assembly and that's why it is expensive.

I found some items on eBay:

Still very high.

Not to mention about the price I got from Volvo of Calabasas. Just the part along is $233.96.

I called Action Volvo this morning and was told it would be $205, installed. Janusz said it is $190 + $50 installation though so I am not sure why the total amount became $205. I think it is $205 before installation charge.

The point is, it is expensive!!!

Got another call from a SAAB / VOLVO repair shop in Thousand Oaks saying the part will be $194.97 + tax ($14.10) = $209.07 plus installation ($45).

I am wondering if I can get the part and have them install for me to save some money.....
